A573/A573M Carbon Steel Plate

ASTM A573/A573M grades include 58, 65 and 70. Steel plates are suitable for structural carbon-manganese-silicon steel plates with three tensile strength ranges. ASTM A573/A573M steel plates are mainly used to improve notch toughness at room temperature.

For carbon steels, there is no minimum specified content of other alloying elements, however, they often contain manganese.     A588  Carbon Steel Plate Description
